Taking A Knife To A Gunfight

Recently someone was complaining about people in their laundry room not removing items from the dryer in a timely fashion.  My suggestion was to toss a ball-point pen into the dryer and restart it.

Sure, it’ll cost you 50c (or whatever the going rate is for dryers now), but the offenders will never do it again.

You’re welcome for my most reasonable advice.

So I’m at work today, and decide to hop onto my little website here and see if any good jokes have been posted by spammers.  I log in, and randomly click on the stats.

And wow.  There are hundreds more pageviews than I ever anticipated.  Several levels of magnitude higher of what I consider “good”, which is probably mostly people I know in real life checking to see if they won “The Dead Pool.”

So, awesome.  Hope you like this.

Ever feel like there is just too much work to be done? I’ve been feeling that way a lot lately. Seems that there is much to do at work and at home. But whatever, I still try to get my 13 hours of sleep at night.

It keeps me looking young and pasty, you know.

I was bored the other day and cranked this out.  Just a little PSA on pet abduction.

Well, as you can see October is shaping up to be a busy month.  I’ve added Project Wonderful ads for those who want to find other comics or t-shirts or such, and am busy working on a big storyline for Spare Change (the comic you see above.)

If there seems to be a good response to the PW ads, I will rip the Google ads off of this site.  It isn’t about making money (although I wouldn’t mind getting my hosting covered) as much as it’s about helping to promote other little guys like myself.

As I’ve alluded in the daily comic blog, there are some big changes coming down the road for this site.  It’ll be awesome.  Really.  :)

So I feel like I’m going a little crazy. It feels like I’m taking on about 100 more things than I can currently handle. On top of life and work I’m also getting back into posting comics (tomorrow makes 4 in a row!)

I’ve added some Project Wonderful advertising on the right column of this site. While I don’t get tens of thousands of hits daily, this could be a good opportunity for someone who doesn’t mind sending me a penny a day. That’s the beauty of Project Wonderful: low bids.

I need to sleep now. Later.

So the site is finally mostly working under Wordpress and Comicpress. I’ve got RSS working (I think) and will be working on getting the other comics archives online. Maybe not the way I’d like 100%, but oh well.

As for updates, we will be showing more in the near future (like next week.) The summer is over, so my schedule will actually loosen up a little bit. At least that is the plan.
