I know what you’re saying… a groan and an eyeroll considering how often I update anymore. But it seems that so much of Spare Change just isn’t relevant to me these days. Even when I do sit down for an update it seems forced. So maybe it’s finally time to break off from the routine and find something different.
So while I still don’t have any plans (or time) to update more than a couple times a week, we are branching off in a couple new directions.
The first one is what you see here. A comic that may only have one strip, or may have thousands to come. And there will be other comics here too. Some may be “reruns” of comics I previously did (Mass Production, , etc</em>.), some may be reopening old projects.</p>
<p>Some won’t even be “drawn”, adding extra drama to my domain name.</p>
<p>As for Spare Change, I don’t wish to end it totally. At least, not with a Kiln full of spray paint. Phil and crew live on, and may one day show up in unexpected places. Maybe even mixed in with Duck Soup comics.</p>
<p>See, this place is getting more like the Buffet table every day. God bless me.</p>

<div class="entry"><p>Well, as you can see October is shaping up to be a busy month. I’ve added <a title="Commerce!" href="http://www.projectwonderful.com" target="_blank">Project Wonderful</a> ads for those who want to find other comics or t-shirts or such, and am busy working on a big storyline for Spare Change (the comic you see above.)</p>
<p>If there seems to be a good response to the PW ads, I will rip the Google ads off of this site. It isn’t about making money (although I wouldn’t mind getting my hosting covered) as much as it’s about helping to promote other little guys like myself.</p>
<p>As I’ve alluded in the daily comic blog, there are some big changes coming down the road for this site. It’ll be awesome. Really. <img src='http://www.poorlydrawncomics.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>

<div class="entry"><p>So I feel like I’m going a little crazy. It feels like I’m taking on about 100 more things than I can currently handle. On top of life and work I’m also getting back into posting comics (tomorrow makes 4 in a row!)</p>
<p>I’ve added some Project Wonderful advertising on the right column of this site. While I don’t get tens of thousands of hits daily, this could be a good opportunity for someone who doesn’t mind sending me a penny a day. That’s the beauty of Project Wonderful: low bids.</p>

<div class="entry"><p>So the site is finally mostly working under Wordpress and Comicpress. I’ve got RSS working (I think) and will be working on getting the other comics archives online. Maybe not the way I’d like 100%, but oh well.</p>
<p>As for updates, we will be showing more in the near future (like next week.) The summer is over, so my schedule will actually loosen up a little bit. At least that is the plan.</p>
